History
Founded in 1995, IFisicas started its activity with the installation in Portugal of the public switched network equipment from Alcatel.
The excellence of the work performed supported the expansion of the company’s activity to provide other services in the areas of installation, maintenance and monitoring of fixed and mobile telecommunications systems and in the areas of railway signaling and telecommunications for ground transportation.
In 1997, in partnership with Thales Portugal S.A., IFisicas started the operations of implementation and maintenance of automation systems equipment for transport, and security and information systems to the public.
IFisicas was responsible for the implementation of telemetry systems at Expo98.
The company started its internationalization in 2000 with telecommunication works carried out in Mozambique and India.
In 2001, the company’s activities were extended to the mobile telecommunications, carrying on projects in monitoring and maintenance for the GSM network of TMN.
IFisicas participated in the setup of the infrastructures for the UEFA 2004 Football Championship held in Portugal, namely with the installation of telecommunications systems in stadiums and in the Portugal Telecom stations.
IFisicas started the activity in the area of energy networks, having ensured the installation of power, voice and data networks in the buildings of Thales and Audaxys.
Since 2000, the company has been accompanying its customers and partners in international markets, having secured the conditions to be present in any part of the world.
The cumulated experience of more than 20 years of activity and a broad technological knowledge, namely in the initial requirements, the key success factors and the associated risks to any project, is a critical added value that IFisicas provides to all its clients and partners.
